Virtuously B'Earthed Doula Services is Community Centered and Well Rounded
LaKisha is currently the Board Chair of the St. Louis Doula Project. This organization was founded to bring Doula services to incarcerated and justice involved women. The St. Louis Doula Project recently received a Community Mobilization Grant from Flourish in order to provide free Community Based Childbirth Education Classes to the federally designated Promise Zones in the city of St. Louis.
LaKisha is a Bereavement Doula student with Stillbirthday, an organization that knows and understands that a pregnancy loss at any stage is still a birthday. Virtuously B'Earthed Doula Services aligns with the mission of Stillbirthday. Soon, LaKisha hopes to be fully certified to better service the needs of the families she serves.
