We Now Have Birthing Pools For Rent!
Our birthing pools are available to both clients and non-clients of Virtuously B'Earthed Doula Services. Currently, we have one La Bassine Original Birthing Pool and one La Bassine Maxi Birthing Pool for immediate rental. Check out the features of the pools below!
La Bassine Original Birthing Pool- $200 for 1 Month Rental
*The La Bassine Original Birth Pool is an inflated cocoon shaped birth tub measuring 65"x53". It holds 118 gallons when filled 2/3 (usual depth to cover the abdomen)
*The floor of the La Bassine also inflates for added comfort when kneeling on hands and knees
*Pool has two handles located inside for leverage/position changes
What's Included In My Rental?
*La Bassine Original Birth Pool
*Disposable single use pool liner (must be used when using the pool)
*Tarp to protect floors
*Air pump
*Water temperature thermometer (Yours to keep...)
*One sink adapter (you may need to purchase one that fits your sink)
*Water pump to empty the pool
*2 hoses (one white for filling pool, one green to empty pool--you keep the green hose)
*Debris net
**Virtuously B'Earthed Doula Clients enjoy a $150 rental fee in addition to Birth Doula Services Fee. Subject to availability.**

La Bassine Maxi Birthing Pool- $225 for 1 Month Rental
*The La Bassine Maxi Birth Pool is an inflated cocoon shaped birth tub measuring 75"x65". It holds 165 gallons when filled 2/3 (usual depth to cover the abdomen)
*The floor of the La Bassine Maxi Birth Pool also inflates for added comfort when kneeling on hands and knees
*Pool has four handles located inside for leverage/position changes

Birth Pool Set-Up and Breakdown- $75
For $75, Virtuously B'Earthed Doula Services will set up and breakdown any one of the birth pool rentals. Before the birth, this includes drop-off, set-up, ensuring length of hoses are correct for filling pool, and finding proper adapters for sink. After the birth, this includes pool drainage, in-home cleaning of pool, pool breakdown, and haul away. Client still keeps all of the items listed "yours to keep".
