"LaKisha was such a calming presence as my postpartum doula. I had a cesarean, during which both of my Fallopian tubes were removed, so I was quite drugged and extremely groggy. Her touch was so soothing! I LOVE peppermint, and she brought me a home made neck pillow that can be heated or cooled, and it was infused with peppermint oil. It’s been a month since I delivered and I still use it daily. Don’t even get me started on the foot rub, my goodness! All of my anxiety just melted away while she cared for me. I couldn’t have asked for a sweeter soul to help me once my daughter came earthside. Knowing that this was my last birth almost makes me sad, because I’ll never be able to have her as my doula again!
